Job description

You are passionate about multi location cloud environments and edge technologies? As part of our recent acquisition by OVHcloud we are looking for real cloud enthusiasts to become part of our exciting journey ahead. As Systems Engineer you will be part of the team responsible for our edge stack. You will work on design, setup, automation & running of our multi location cloud environments.

Your main responsibilities in a nutshell

  • Being part of the team, that brings our technologies to the edge.

  • Design, setup & run multi location cloud environments.

  • Continuously improve, simplify and automate the configuration, observability and deployment of our infrastructure.

  • Focus on tools to measure, maintain, and improve system reliability.

  • Work closely with the other cloud teams, that own supporting systems like storage/network/platform.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • Your work experience is more important to us than your education. You bring a minimum of 4 years of Infrastructure as a code production experience.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities combined with expertise in configuring and optimizing Linux systems.

  • Ideally you are experienced with cluster lifecycles and multi location deployments.

  • You are familiar with automation tools like ansible.

  • Scripting languages like shell are not new to you.

  • You are curious about container technologies and kubernetes.

  • You bring very good English skills, German is not a must.
