Job description

Are you a passionate SRE with extensive Python knowledge and looking for exciting challenges in a dynamic environment? We offer you the opportunity to play a key role in the further development of our cloud infrastructure.

With us, you will help to develop innovative solutions for our local zones and continuously improve existing systems. You will be responsible for designing the architecture of our systems and APIs. You will integrate and manage OpenStack for our IAAS platform and develop robust and scalable cloud services. Continuous integration and high quality standards are a matter of course for you.

Your tasks💻
  • Architecture, development and implementation of software solutions with Python to optimize our cloud infrastructure structure
  • Development and maintenance of APIs, including design and implementation of new interfaces
  • Integration and management of OpenStack in our IAAS platform
  • Operation and maintenance of API services, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Implementation and support of monitoring and observability solutions
  • Implementation and management of container solutions and CI/CD pipelines
  • Code reviews and joint learning through mutual exchange
  • Automation of everything that can be reasonably automated

Job requirements

  • Several years of experience in software development, especially complex applications with Python
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, API development and the operation of API services
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and OpenStack experience
  • Ideally experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Experience with the creation of CI/CD workflows
  • Passion for writing clean and well-tested code
  • You are very self-organized, solution-oriented and have excellent debugging skills
  • Fluency in English, German is not a must
